National Student Television (NSTV), the Award of Excellence for outstanding High School television journalism, is currently accepting entries for the next awards cycle. NSTV Awards Categories are: News, Writing, Sports, Documentary, Technical Achievement, Arts & Entertainment/Cultural Affairs and Public Affairs/Community Service/Public Service.

Entry Period: August through January

This past year, high school students from the Heartland region submitted their work for a chance to be recognized by the National Academy. Entries were judged by television professionals, teachers and students for Content, Creativity and Execution.
